My advice is not to stay here. This person is a scammer, and if you do stay, I believe you have the legal right to pay your final month’s rent minus the deposit. They’ll smile to your face and curse you behind your back. They also threatened some people, and I don’t mean through legal action.
They may seem like a sweet old couple, but I think these people are scammers. When it comes time to return the deposit, they become completely different people to avoid paying it. It’s disgusting. Everyone should stay away.
Right in the city center, so the location is really convenient. The hostel was recently renovated, and everything was spotless and very nice, especially the showers and restrooms. It was easily the best hostel I stayed in while I was in Poland. I’d recommend it to anyone.
The hostel itself is lovely, very clean, and has a nice bathroom and kitchen. The way things were handled was strange, though. I never saw the owner during my stay, and they didn’t turn up for our 2 pm meeting, despite sounding very friendly on the phone. The only woman we saw was there to collect the money, and she didn’t speak English at all.
They’re really accomplished scammers, immoral people who take tenants’ deposits and then use the money to renovate their own homes. May God … you.
