Rancho Lot

There are things for kids to do, and a small airport nearby where sport planes land now and then, which is fun to watch. The place is nice, the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. Worth a visit.

We had a really disappointing meal here this week with a group of five. There was only one other table occupied and plenty of staff, but our waitresses barely paid attention to us. We had to go inside ourselves to ask for the previous guests’ ashtray to be emptied, for silverware, and for refills. Finding the waitresses chatting and having fun inside wasn’t a problem. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled bad. They were missing basic ingredients for dishes on their own menu, like boiled potatoes. One guest ordered potato pancakes and found out they were made from powder. Other dishes also seemed to use frozen, store-bought ingredients, and tasted disgusting. When we told the waitress, she said she’d pass on our feedback. We’ve had nothing but good restaurant experiences around Nowy Targ, and unfortunately this was the worst of them all. We won’t come back and would definitely tell others not to visit.

The food selection really stood out, and the service, atmosphere, and hospitality were all great. A comfortable, welcoming spot.

I waited here for 20 minutes, and no waiter came over to me.
