The shared spaces are cozy, with a small library and a roomy play area for children. On the downside, a really unpleasant smell came from the bathroom for more than two days. And orders stopped by 7:30 p.m., so we couldn’t even get dessert after our meal.

We found this lovely place while driving around dolina Baryczy, and the restaurant food was fantastic. There are real stables downstairs, with horse-riding lessons available, and the staff were very nice. One small suggestion for the owners: the setting is too beautiful for standard radio. Some relaxed music on Spotify would suit it better. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

They serve wonderful food, with vegetarian choices too. There are horses and a stable here as well. It’s a lovely, quiet and peaceful place.

The grounds, gardens, riding arena and parking areas are beautifully laid out and very well kept. We enjoyed starting the day with a walk, and it was nice to see even the school horses getting time to relax in the pasture. We’re riders ourselves, so we watched some morning lessons. The teachers were friendly and fun with the mostly young students, but didn’t seem quite able to keep things under control. Many saddles looked too small or poorly fitted. The little white pony’s saddle kept slipping forward and to the left, and nobody seemed to notice. We stayed four nights as a family and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and accommodating, our four double rooms were lovely, and we especially liked the showers. There’s no room service, but that didn’t bother us. We also really appreciated that our dog could come into the rooms, restaurant and patio, and that someone offered a water bowl wherever we went. Dinner had a fairly small menu, though everything we tried was tasty and nicely presented. Breakfast had lots of fresh fruit, different breads and egg dishes. A wider choice of jams would have been welcome. Flies around the breakfast buffet were a problem, probably because the stables are directly below the hotel. We did find it odd that no other guests seemed to wear masks in the hallways, restaurant or while serving themselves at breakfast. We’re not saying that to criticize, just noting what we saw. Thanks to the staff, we had a great stay and would happily recommend the hotel. We visit the area regularly for family history reasons and hope to come back soon.
