Hotel Mazury

I canceled my booking after finding the sanitary conditions and vermin unacceptable. The owner called me unreasonable, demanding, and said I was making things up, so I'm attaching photos. Before that, he'd been rude, vulgar, and insolent from the start, shouting and insulting me instead of letting me explain that I was there for a training course and my company had booked the accommodation. I had reserved at another hotel, also owned by this gentleman, but his lordship insisted he would decide where I stayed and didn't care what the reservation said. The photos show what he called the “better” facility. I dread to think what the other one was like. It was a disaster, with stench, filth, and vermin. I don't recommend it. Avoid it completely. Better to sleep in your car than in this pseudo-hotel.

We arrived to find locked doors and an empty parking lot. The reception staff recognized our name from booking.com but didn't know about our reservation, then tried to raise the agreed price. They claimed there was breakfast, but there wasn't, and there weren't even any drinks. We were the only guests. The following day, the hotel asked why we hadn't arrived.

The room itself was decent, but the bathroom was dingy and the shower stall leaked. Our bedding had holes in it, and there were no glasses or kettle in the room. During the nine days we were there, nobody came to empty the trash or replace the towels or bedding.

The older gentleman who owns the place is pleasant and dresses well. It feels like a hotel where you can relax and be at ease.
