I had an appointment and no time to find somewhere else to stay, so when I was left without accommodation, I had to change my plans and fly home with my family that night. The day before I was due to arrive, the apartment owner hadn't told me there was a problem with my reservation. After I arrived the next day, I called at the time we had arranged. The lady said she'd call me back, but she never did. About 15 minutes later, Booking.com messaged to say the property had canceled my reservation. She still never returned my call. How can they handle things like this? I don't recommend it.

We didn't stay the night. The moment we saw the condition of the hotel, we left. The bedding was disgustingly dirty, there were holes in the walls, and it didn't meet any of the promised requirements. The hotel won't respond to messages or offer compensation, and they won't contact Booking support either. There are more negative reviews on Booking. I regret not reading all the comments first.
