Hotel Ukiel Wellness & SPA

A lovely lake.

The children's program during winter break was a nice touch, and my children and I made use of it. I was also given a discount because the hotel's pool was being renovated, though the management is very proud of that. We went to the indoor pool in the center of Olsztyn instead. Our stay at Hotel Ukiel ran from February 9, 2026, to February 14, 2026, and was very pleasant. Even with the low temperatures outside, our room stayed warm and cozy. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Reception and dining room staff were friendly, and we enjoyed delicious dinners served elegantly, with a wide menu and generous portions. Breakfast had plenty of variety too. There was unlimited access to the children's playroom, with board games, table tennis, billiards, foosball, a gym, and exercise bikes. Guests could also use the sauna and swim safely in the ice hole, which you reach from the jetty. I highly recommend staying here.

The first conversation with the manager is what drew me to Hotel Ukiel in Olsztyn. He was direct, clear, and took a personal approach with each client. I was there from February 12th to 15th, 2026, with KS Pałac Bydgoszcz Volleyball, and we had a really enjoyable stay. The atmosphere and service were great, and the food was very tasty. The meals had been arranged in advance with the manager. Putting together a menu for 20 athletes can't be easy, but everything tasted great :). Thanks, we'd happily recommend it :)

The staff were very friendly, both in reception and the restaurant, and the hotel does have plenty of potential. Still, its standard is poor, and that potential hasn't been used. Our room and bathroom were tiny and badly in need of renovation. Restaurant prices were much higher than what we got for the money. Simply put, we won't eat there again. The spa closure was another nasty surprise. We only found out after paying for our stay, couldn't cancel, and received no compensation. I don't recommend this place.
