It was ok.

A lovely place for a vacation, with beautiful views and lots of peace and quiet. You can reach the beach right from the garden. I highly recommend it.

The owners are so friendly, and the lake is close by with a view from the window. It’s quiet, and you can hear birds in the morning. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast is self-catering, but there’s a shared kitchen with a dining area and living room, which we preferred to having a kettle in the room at the other two places we stayed. The road in is a little rough, so take it slowly and you’ll be fine. There’s a Leviathan grocery store a few minutes’ walk away. Parking is on the sidewalk outside the building. I can’t say what it’s like in high season, but during this off-season weekend parking wasn’t an issue. You could ask the owners whether it tends to get busy during the dates you’re planning.

My wife and I spent our vacation here. We were outdoors most of the time, enjoying the pine forest, lake a minute’s walk away, and peaceful, soothing atmosphere. The hosts were kind and welcoming. Our room had a working toilet, shower, TV, and kettle, and the shared kitchen downstairs had all the utensils we needed. There’s also a grill and the equipment to use it on the property, free of charge. Just bring your own charcoal and meat. If you want to reconnect with nature, I definitely recommend this place.
