Karczma Pod Gołębiem

The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the food tasted homemade and special. My wife and I held our wedding at Karczma Pod Gołębiem during the pandemic, and everything went smoothly. Sara helped us through the planning and catering, making the whole process feel easy. The staff were great on the day, too. We appreciated the clear contract, professional preparation, and easy communication, and we're grateful for all the time and care you gave us. Our day turned out even better than we'd imagined. We'd happily recommend Karczma Pod Gołębiem to other couples.

The wedding and after-party both went very well. The venue looked beautifully prepared, the food was delicious, the staff took care of everything, and the guest rooms were clean and looked after. We hosted 100 guests at Karczma in June this year. Working with Sara from the start was reassuring: she gave us clear, reliable information, answered our questions throughout, and was open to extra ideas. Everything in the contract was honored, with no surprise costs. We'd wholeheartedly recommend the venue for events.

The soups were good, but the rest of our visit was a letdown. The dewolaj was tough, bland, and mushy, with mostly mushroom filling and very little meat. Our main course came without salad, and we didn't ask for more because that would have meant waiting again. Service was painfully slow: over 15 minutes just to order, 30 for the soups, then another 10 for the main course. We finally went to the counter to pay, and even put our plates away because the waitress couldn't keep up alone. She apologized to the guests every few minutes, and we saw three couples leave. We left very disappointed and won't be back.

The rooms were clean and fine for one night, with a bathroom in each, and the hall noise didn't carry through much. We had our wedding at the inn and it went great. The manager was fantastic, gave us lots of advice beforehand, and there were no problems. The food was tasty and plentiful, and the staff were helpful without hovering. I'd recommend it.
