The grounds are lovely, and the rooms have a museum-like feel. My room was spacious and clean for the night, though the basic mattress and creaky wooden frame weren’t great. Breakfast was fine for the price. Worth a stop if you’re nearby.

There was no wait when we visited on a weekday, so we had plenty of time to enjoy the place. The two buildings are lovely, and inside we saw elegant dining rooms, an impressive owl collection, pianos, accordions, and plenty more. We also walked around outside. A lovely visit.

If you get the chance, it’s worth a visit for the history, paintings, statues, instruments, and owls. They also have tasty food if you get hungry.

The park is lovely for a stroll, and staying overnight in the old chambers is something I can highly recommend. We had a wonderful weekend at the beautifully restored Ostromecko, where Iwona and Andrzej, the rest of the staff, and their boss treated us so kindly and made us feel welcome. We can’t wait to come back. See you soon, Ostromecko.

There’s a large park to walk around, and two historic mansions to explore. The first is more of a restaurant and hotel, while the second is really interesting. With its large piano collection, it’s a must-see for music fans.
