The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable and, most importantly, very clean. I recommend it.

The restaurant is simple, but the food is very good. The rooms are okay.

After a long journey in the cold, it would have been nice to make hot tea in the evening. Our room was in a separate wing from reception, but there was no kettle, coffee, tea, cutlery or plates. Just one 0.33 bottle of water for two people. The bathroom rug had lots of unwashed stains, and the duvet was so thin it was like a dishcloth. Even with the radiator on in the bitter cold, we were cold. It barely covered the double bed from side to side, so the two of us had to squeeze together and not move. The room itself was tiny, with the bed wedged into a corner and no way to get in from one side. No bedside table, either. There was only one wall lamp above the bed, so one person couldn’t read while the other slept. It was the most disappointing overnight stay I’ve had in years. We had a room for two with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom.
