Villa Centro

The staff were super friendly, and when we had to get up early, they made sure breakfast was ready earlier than usual just for us. We really appreciated it. The rooms are huge and quite nice, and it’s a great base for visiting Auschwitz, about a 5 minute drive away. In the family rooms, there’s a little mezzanine with a very low ceiling. The air-conditioning doesn’t cool that area, so it gets hot and makes sleeping difficult.

The breakfast was fresh and very good, and with a bus stop just 2 minutes away it was easy to reach sightseeing points or the main station. This is a nice, clean little hotel near the center of Oswiecim. Rooms range from small bedrooms to whole apartments with a kitchen. The beds were okay, but not very comfortable. The heating didn’t work well, and when it was -24 degrees outside, the rooms cooled down quickly. There’s an air conditioner, but it has to run 24/7 in that weather and is very loud.

The breakfast cost extra, but it was good value for money. Parking was free, and I’d stay again. My apartment was spacious and finished to a high standard, with everything we needed: hob, fridge, kettle, sink, towels, toiletries, plus complementary bottled water.

Breakfast can be served at the time you request the day before, and there’s a good spot to park in front of the hotel. The room was clean and everything was as it should be. It looks like the place has been recently renovated. Great place.
