Hotel DeSilva Warszawa Piaseczno

I was trying to move my prepaid stay to the right date, just a few days later, and wasn’t asking for my money back. I’d booked the wrong night by mistake, and I know that was my fault. Since I thought I was due to arrive later, I missed the booked date and got a no-show cancellation email. I contacted the hotel the next morning, but they refused to change the date, pointing to their policy and showing no flexibility. They could have kept the booking, but wouldn’t consider a reasonable solution. When I politely asked for a manager to look into it, I got no reply at all.

The breakfast was really tasty. Staff were friendly, the rooms were quite large and very clean, and parking is available right outside the hotel.

The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was decent for the price. My room was reasonably clean, with the usual basics like a kettle, tea, and coffee. The staff were friendly and the service was good, and free parking was handy. The building’s interior feels dated, though. The corridors were especially gloomy, with only every third or fourth light switched on, which made them feel like something from a horror film.

The airline paid for my stay after I missed a connection. I wouldn't have chosen this place as my first option.
