Montezera

Really beautiful house and such a nice host. I’d love to come back.

We came from the Netherlands, and this modern, minimal cottage was just right for a getaway with friends. It’s set in a quiet spot surrounded by nature, and the rooms were clean with great views. One first for me was watching a bunch of deer grazing just 50m away while we sat by the fire in the garden. There are a couple of magnificent hikes right by the cottage, which worked well since we were on foot. Host Adam was a great guy, gave us lots of information, and showed us around the area. 10/10! :D

The big living room is the heart of Montezera, a nice place to play board games or swap stories with the other guests. Adam was a lovely, helpful host. He helped us sort out hiking routes, suggested restaurants, and it was a pleasure hearing his stories and perspectives. The house is super modern, very quiet up there, and both our room and the shared spaces were clean and well equipped. The modern kitchen has a really good coffee machine, too. Nearby restaurants are hidden gems in the region. There's a bus station close by if you don't have a car or want to do one-way hikes. And if you ask nicely, the host might pick you up somewhere :)

This was our second visit, and this time we rented the whole house for a family event. Everyone had a really good stay. The owner communicated excellently and clearly does his best to make things pleasant for guests. The relaxing atmosphere, lovely location, and short distance from Berlin make it a special place. We'll be back again. Thank you, Adam!
