Hotel Gromada Pila

The location is good, but that's about the only plus I can give it. Standard rooms feel dated and are far too expensive for what you get. Mine was facing a busy road, so earplugs were essential, and the bed was uncomfortable. I can't speak to the food service or other room types. At 30% less, maybe I'd consider it, but I wouldn't come back.

We stayed at the start of May and were very happy with our choice. Our small two-room apartment was on the 11th floor, room 13, with a great city view. It had two TVs with internet and YouTube, which is rare even in very expensive hotels. Breakfast was great and parking was right outside. We paid a good price, probably two to three times less than the same stay would cost in most cities. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit this part of Poland.

We chose Gromada Hotel in Pila because it's one of the town's original hotels, where we'd stayed many years ago. It's easy to find and well located. The staff were friendly, pleasant and ready to help. The room was a little old, but okay, and had a nice morning view.

In the standard single rooms, the beds are so uncomfortable that they can give you back problems. Your body sinks into them almost down to the floor.
