Hotel Piwniczna Spa & Conference

The hotel was spotless, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We arrived late, but they reopened the kitchen so we could enjoy local specialties and Polish beer. The sauna aromas around the hotel added to the relaxed feel. We only managed one night and had to leave early, so we missed the sauna evening with Pola. Still, the stay left us with a lovely memory.

The restaurant really stood out, with amazing food and drinks and warm, excellent service. We enjoyed live Polish folk music, and the hotel's quiet location and atmosphere were lovely. Our rooms were fresh and good value. Check-in was a little complicated because the hotel hadn't received our reservation from Expedia, but the staff were friendly and told us not to worry. Since we were tired from the trip, they said they'd look into it the next day. We also had a quick visit to the spa. We're very happy with our stay and would strongly recommend the hotel. Thank you!

We planned a few days here with my girlfriend and ended up staying a whole week because we liked the hotel so much. There's plenty to do nearby, from hiking in the mountains to kayaking or taking a river boat tour. The hotel itself has a huge spa with saunas, a jacuzzi, and a big pool, and the restaurant serves tasty Polish and international food. During our stay there was a Japanese evening with sushi, sake, and Japanese whiskey, plus a Polish folk night with live music and amazing spareribs that drew people from nearby towns. The staff were very friendly, and when a problem came up, the manager did everything possible to sort it out. With the river and mountains nearby, it's a beautiful location, and we loved our time here. We'd happily come back and recommend it if you need to unwind.

My booking mistake turned into a non-issue. Even though the hotel was full and my room was non-refundable, the staff were understanding and went out of their way to fix it. The spacious suite and spa facilities were great, and the evening spa sessions had a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. After a long sauna session, relaxing by the river fire late into the night was a highlight. Breakfast was mediocre, but I can't take off a star when the whole stay felt like a 10 out of 5!
