Hotel Otolinski

Really nice.

There’s plenty of affordable parking, and the dining room is kept clean and tidy. The staff are friendly, too. Breakfast is basic, with eggs, sausages, cold cuts, dairy products, coffee and tea. It’s the kind of hotel that mainly suits work trips, and it should be fine for guests who don’t ask for much. The dim hallways and rooms also make some signs of wear harder to see.

The location is good, but there are better places in Plock. We stayed just one night, and honestly, it was long enough. The room was dark, with only lamps, and it was so dusty and full of spiders that it looked like nobody had cleaned it. The carpet was filthy and smelled awful, and that odor spread through the room. I can accept old furnishings in a one-star hotel, but the dirt was too much. Doors kept slamming, and from early morning the cleaning staff were shouting and chatting loudly in the hallway. The TV didn’t work, and we couldn’t get Wi-Fi in the room. The shower had mold and rust, several things were broken, and there was nowhere to put the toilet paper. There wasn’t even a kettle. The whole place is coming apart and needs repairs and renovation. The carpets throughout the hotel especially need to be cleaned or replaced. Breakfast was included, so we tried it, but the choice was limited and the food seemed a little stale. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it.
