Apartamenty Kornel

We stayed here around the end of July and beginning of August 2022. My earlier review was rejected, so I’m trying to post it again to show people what this accommodation is really like. The advertising misleads people. The property and room were supposedly renovated, but the photos posted earlier showed that our room hadn’t been renovated. The only work on the property seems to have been putting in a wooden playground. The listing also said there was a go-kart rental. That’s not there either, though apparently it used to be, a long time ago. It seemed very suspicious that before our stay there were more negative reviews about the place and the owner. There are negative reviews about the owner, and I have to agree with them. She was polite only until she received the money. Right after we arrived, I asked to move to another apartment. There was a sign at the entrance gate saying rooms were available, but the owner refused and said there were none free. The apartment was very dark. The LED lighting and a lamp we had to ask to borrow weren’t enough even during the day. The blind on the entrance door was moldy, and the socket to the right of the bed was sparking and half pulled out of its fitting. The bed had a new mattress, but creaked terribly with even the smallest movement. The bedspread had blood stains on it. We asked for another one, and that one was stained too. The shower tray was blocked and leaking, with mold marks that looked like they’d been there a long time. There were greasy patches on the walls, and the bathroom radiator was rusty with rust underneath it, which also made the dirt seem long-standing. I don’t even want to write more. Although our review was rejected, we managed to add a few photos. The room clearly needs renovating. I tried to invite the owner to see everything, but she refused in an arrogant way and said she was there every day and everything was fine. Even the small discount she offered couldn’t make up for the whole situation, since this is definitely not an apartment worth paying 500 zł per night for. The only good thing about the place was leaving.

The rooms are mega spacious, and the place is clean and quiet. It’s very close to the beach and promenade.

The smoked fish is delicious, and there’s an ATM just around the corner. The apartment is very nice, with really friendly staff, and the location works well for both the beach and the shopping area. The only downsides were no German TV and a poor internet connection. We’ll definitely be back :)

The holiday was fantastic, and we’ll definitely come back. The room was nicely furnished, and the bathroom was very nice too. The kitchen is tiny, fine for breakfast, but for lunch it’s better to eat out. The beach is about 5-10 minutes away if you walk quickly past the stalls.
