The standard rooms were underwhelming, and the view over the parking lot didn't help. The natural surroundings were a lovely escape when the weather was pleasant. We had fantastic weather, fortunately, since in bad conditions you'd rather be outdoors.

I’m back for my third visit, and it’s been great each time. The buffet has lots to choose from, with fish, meat, vegetables and something for everyone. There’s a pool, Finnish and steam saunas, a salt room, a fitness room, and even bowling. The hotel is only five minutes from the beach. If you’re after clean beaches and a quieter spot than big tourist hubs like Kolberg or miezdrowy, Pobierowo and Grand laola spa are worth a look.

The restaurant serves really good food and drinks, and the spa feels professional. The sandy Baltic beach is an easy walk away, and there are shops and food stores nearby to the left.

I haven’t stayed overnight at Laola, but I’ve eaten at the restaurant and the food is very good. Some dishes are presented in a surprisingly fancy way. Try their version of the local specialty, Paprykarz Szczecinski. The staff are friendly, though on sunny days it gets busy and the wait is longer.

We were really happy with our stay. The hotel is modern, new, and clean, and it’s close to the Baltic Sea. The food was very good too. A lovely place for a holiday.
