The decor is nice, the room is large, and the owner is friendly. The TV situation was odd, though, because there were only four German channels, so it barely counts as a TV. The room and bathroom weren't heated; my thermometer showed 18°C at night and again in the morning, which felt a little low.

The cottages are clean, well looked after, and very good. Nights can get pretty cold, though still bearable. The owner said there was a charge for a bonfire, but we only found out after our stay that it was 120 PLN for two bonfires.

The Schulze family made every effort to accommodate us, and their friendly, family feel is what stood out. We stayed in every season from spring through autumn with our three children, aged 11, 8, and 3, and always enjoyed it. The rooms are simple, in a wooden house on a secluded, quiet property, and the price is very good for what you get. Breakfast was wonderful. From here, it's easy to take trips into the Giant Mountains on either side of the border, and even Wrocław (Breslau), the capital of Lower Silesia, is reachable for a day trip. Jelenia Góra (Hirschberg) is right nearby and has everything you need. The pool, campfire, and grilled trout add to the stay, and Captain Jörg will even take guests up in the air if you ask.

It's quite nice, but at this room price I don't think a shared shower and toilet in the hallway is acceptable anymore.

The place is very nice, though the buildings are old wooden ones. Bathrooms are shared, and you can hear everything your neighbors do.
