The owner was helpful, and there are some good points: it's near the train station and Pyrnicki ski lift, there's a breakfast buffet, and a children's club. Our main issue was the food. The soups were basically water with rice or pasta, without vegetables or other ingredients. The main dishes were either tough, overcooked, or badly underseasoned, like the chicken we had. It was edible, but traveling with a small child made meals difficult. The room depends on what you get. In our four-person room, there was so little space that our bags ended up piled in the middle because there was nowhere else to put them. There was just one chair for four people and no nightlight. The plasterboard walls let us hear our neighbor struggling on the toilet. Internet was available, but the signal didn't reach every room.

The train station right across from Poronianka made getting to Zakopane in eight minutes easy, without traffic or parking hassles. Shops, a pharmacy, and other services are close by too. We had a great New Year's Eve in the mountains, and the house had clean, well-kept rooms, free Wi-Fi, an elevator, and delicious food. Agnieszka and the staff were kind and helpful from the start. I highly recommend it.

Friendly service, good food, and a convenient location. It worked really well as a base for skiing.

The train station is only a few steps away, so the ride to Zakopane is quick and easy. We also really appreciated the owner, who was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and carefully prepared. I’d happily recommend staying here.
