Right from the beginning, the man was rude and immature. When I asked how he could be sure I wouldn’t find somewhere to stay, he snapped that I was being smart. He said 99% of rooms were booked, then basically admitted he didn’t know everyone. No manners, no understanding, and no customer service skills. Having someone like that as the contact person is a real way to shoot yourself in the foot. He came across as completely incompetent and rude. The rooms also leave a lot to be desired and look off-putting in the photos.

The barbecue area was fantastic, and our group of 10 friends all had a good time. The location is perfect for mountain trips, and the hosts were friendly and really helpful. We’d love to come back :)

I’ve only stayed one day, but the room was spacious compared with the ones I’ve had before. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked. The toilet is shared upstairs, but people cleaned up after themselves, so I didn’t see any mess. It’s close to the train station, and from there you can cross to the bus stop for Zakopane, or go back the other way if you’re heading towards the new market. I’d recommend calling directly. It’s fine if you’re not demanding, just remember to bring a towel.

Parking was a plus, but I won’t stay at this guesthouse again. The room was okay and the bed comfortable, though there was a really unpleasant smell when I walked in and I kept checking for it. The bathroom and shared toilet had very weak water pressure, and hot water took a while. There isn’t a kitchen, just a gas stove and fridge in the hallway, with the washing-up area in the bathroom. For that price, you can’t expect much. The Wi-Fi password on the sign didn’t work.
