Our stay was canceled at 2:00 PM on the day we were due to arrive, because the owner was ill. I could understand that, but my friends had already been given directions to the room and told where the keys were, so it seemed the owner didn’t need to be there. I only got the news through Booking.com, and nobody answered when I tried to call. Thankfully, we found somewhere else quickly. With a 3-month-old baby, I don’t know what I would have done otherwise. Please be careful. This behavior is OUTRAGEOUS.

Booking.com was the only place that told me my stay had been canceled on arrival day. When I called to ask what was going on, the woman sounded very surprised that my name wasn’t on the reservation list and said all the rooms were booked. She gave me no alternative, and I was left stranded at 10 p.m. Outrageous and unprofessional behavior from the property.

After booking more than two weeks ahead and getting confirmation on arrival day, I found out the owners clearly don’t keep track of reservations. The woman I called seemed surprised that someone by that name was supposed to stay that night. I tried twice with no answer, then called a dozen more times and still got nothing. I was left without accommodation, with no communication from the owners. This was childish and unprofessional. I strongly advise people planning a stay in Poznań against booking here.

Getting into the property is a little tricky, and the building itself doesn’t look reassuring. Once inside, though, everything is beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and a coffee and tea maker. The location is excellent, especially if you’re traveling by train.
