Apartamenty Old Town

The listing on Booking.com says U Romana, but the place is basically called Rosemary, which is confusing. After taking my money, the owner didn’t answer my emails, and email is the only way to reach them. Is this a joke? We’re not living in the 1960s.

Apartment #1 gets a lot of noise from the busy cobbled road and passing vehicles because the sound insulation is poor. The outside and entrance foyer look appalling, too. Inside, it’s cold and damp, the bathroom is poor, and the hot water ran out. There’s no heating, and the bedding feels and smells damp all the time. The owner should get the heating issues sorted quickly. Picking up and dropping off the keys is difficult, so drop-off should be easier, perhaps with a secure post box.

There’s plenty of variety in the food and shopping nearby, and the old building has lots of different places to explore. I love this place.

The place was clean, but the heating was stuck on full and couldn’t be adjusted. The street outside was loud, and key pickup was at a different location.
