Hotel Śródka

The room was really satisfactory, and the place itself is nice, but the receptionist was so frustrating. We stood at the counter for about five minutes waiting for her to ask how she could help. I asked my husband if he'd told her we had a reservation, and he had, but she was still busy with something else. We felt like beggars waiting for her attention. Sorry, but it was really annoying.

We booked three separate rooms for the five of us, two for two people and one for three, and the hotel gave us exactly that. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds, extra chairs, and big TVs where we could watch the game. One room had a small balcony, and the views from the windows were lovely too. The location was easy to reach on foot or by public transport, and the friendly staff explained everything we needed to know. We'd like to come back and try a room with a sauna and Jacuzzi.

The breakfast costs extra, but there's plenty to choose from, and the rooms have good sized bathrooms and amenities. Staff were friendly, and there was room for families. It's a clean, comfortable hotel with great places to eat right on the doorstep. Parking was the drawback, since there's none on site and you have to search the streets. The fold-out bed felt a bit flimsy, so we were careful sitting on it.

I didn't stay overnight, but the foyer coffee shop was a nice place to stop for coffee and cake while visiting the Srodka area. It's right in the centre of Srodka, across from the mural and near some very good restaurants.
