Kamienica Bankowa Residence

We had a quiet night in a good-sized room with its own bathroom, and breakfast was included. There was plenty of tasty European-style food to choose from. Inside, the place has a fresh, modern feel, though the B&B is on the third and fourth floors of an older apartment building, with stairs and no lift. It’s close to the train station.

The main drawback was having no lift. I could also hear sounds from outside through the thin walls. The room itself was very tidy, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were really friendly.

The room was large and nice, but the bathroom was my main problem. It has no window or airflow, so all the smells come into the room. The window had no proper curtains or blinds, and since the room is in a corner, mosquitoes got in. There was no fan, so it was very hot. The beds for the two kids weren’t enough for both of them, ages 3 and 7. Make sure there’s enough bed space for both.

The staff were nice, the place was clean, dogs were allowed, and we had a nice view from the windows in a pleasant part of the city. The shower, though, was very old and didn’t work properly, and breakfast was very poor. They also charged my card even though we’d chosen to pay in cash. I would’ve given two stars, but that wouldn’t have been fair to the staff.
