Balaton Rowy

The owners made breakfast uncomfortable by watching closely and commenting on what and how much we ate. The dining tablecloth was already dirty, stained, and covered in crumbs on our first morning, and it stayed that way all week. Breakfast itself was unimaginative and very low standard. The vegetables smelled dried out after being taken from the fridge the next day, and the coffee machine coffee absolutely reeked. Our room was filthy, with lint on the floor, dusty shelves, and a bad smell. Sand poured out when I opened the wardrobe, and the door was damaged. The bathroom had poor ventilation, the sink water was cold, and the shower turned cold after two minutes. The toilet barely flushed. There were dirty curtains and mold, and outside the facility was dirty too, with tree needles everywhere. We couldn't have a barbecue because the area was so dirty, and the playground toys were broken. The owners weren't pleasant, either, seeming as though they were there under duress. One star is still too generous. I don't recommend this place.

The only good thing was how close it is to the sea. The room had supposedly just been cleaned before we arrived, yet it was dusty and full of lint, the bathroom rug was black, and the bedding smelled awful. The shower went cold after a short time for two people, there was no heat at all in the sink, and the toilet needed several flushes. The signal and internet were both very poor. Our child lay down on the bed and the frame broke soon after. The same thing happened again the next day. Toilet paper and other services cost extra, and leaving early still means paying for the full stay. It feels like the owners are focused on squeezing as much money as possible out of guests rather than their well-being. We definitely won't come back. The photos make the guesthouse look perfect, but they don't match the experience.

We only stayed one night, but the hosts were wonderful and the rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the excellent homemade cold cuts. There's also bike storage for people cycling the R10 route. I highly recommend the place!

The payment was easy and went smoothly, and the whole stay felt perfect. I was there from last weekend until Tuesday with my parents and brother. The accommodation and little balcony were both very clean, and every day the breakfast was lovingly prepared and delicious :). It's well located near the beach, with the nearest supermarket not far away, nice restaurants nearby, and a small fairground. I highly recommend it.
