The owner is really friendly and nice. It’s a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, and the sea isn’t far away. I recommend this place.

The location was very good, close by and quiet, and the terrace was a nice spot to sit outside and grill. The kitchenette was nicely set up with an induction hob, dishwasher, and microwave, and the fridge was in the connecting room. The twin beds in the bedroom were comfortable, and the bathroom worked well. The accommodation I got was a small, attractive pseudo-apartment with a kitchenette, a little walk-through room, and a bedroom. It wasn’t the unit shown in the offer. The person who had reserved my room moved me from the first floor to the ground floor, explaining that the terrace faced the road and there was no playground access. I didn’t mind that, since I don’t have very young children, and it was said to be recently renovated. I accepted to avoid the stairs. I’d checked the website photos and comments before booking, so I was right to bring dishwasher tablets and knives ;). There was only one wardrobe, in the bedroom, with a rod and two drawers, and it wasn’t enough for four people. My husband kept his clothes in a suitcase. There was nowhere to put shoes except under the kitchenette sink in a basket, and our beach things had to stay in the car. The table in the walk-through room had a shelf at knee height, so sitting at it meant bending your legs and sitting beside it. The eco-leather corner sofa folded out and was fine for sitting, but not for two children to sleep on. The sheet kept rolling up. Once the bed was out, the walk-through room was crowded with the table, TV, and fridge. The terrestrial TV signal kept dropping out, and the WiFi was so weak we had to use our own. The air-conditioning remote batteries were dead. We were left two toilet paper sticks and two garbage bags for an eight-day stay. The only thing that matched the offer was the owner’s out-of-pocket fee for a “4-person apartment,” with no proof of payment. The price is high, so I expected the offer to match it. I got a response from the owner for every problem, but the attitude was that none of them were his concern. He doesn’t seem to care about repeat customers. I suggest renting from a competitor once a year to keep a fresh comparison and not be taken in by pretty photos.

The kitchenette, second toilet, useful apartment layout, comfortable beds, and garden furniture were the good parts. But the lack of a washing machine was a major downside. This felt like a typical 2-star hotel. WiFi was absent, or the signal was effectively zero, reaching at most 59 kbps. The rooms were neglected, including a broken toilet paper holder in the bathroom. In another room, the toilet hose or faucet needed replacing at 2 a.m. The TV socket had to be repaired several times, and only three channels came in. The playground was just a swing, and the rest of the facilities weren’t suitable for children.
