Agnieszka is warm, friendly, and full of positive energy, and she takes care to meet her guests’ needs. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of variety, and the rooms were a very high standard. With the lovely views, convenient location, and interesting surroundings, it’s a wonderful place to rest in nature. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

I’ve gone on a bit, but I wanted to share how much my wife and I enjoyed our stay. The nature here is incredible. Across the lake, only a few hundred meters away, white-tailed eagles had a nest, and we got to see them up close. We also spotted gray herons, deer, and moose. Unforgettable. We stayed in what I think was called "Apartment Tadeusz." It was excellent, with a comfortable bed and a stack of pillows to choose from, a small toilet with shower, and a living room with a fireplace, TV, sofa, and armchairs. The kitchenette had a fridge and coffee machine, and mosquito nets kept the bugs out. The wide, clean terrace was great for a mat and Pilates, and we used trees nearby to attach TRX straps. We parked right outside and could keep our bikes in the locked garage. Agnieszka made amazing breakfasts, with a different menu every day. There was a buffet with cold cuts, cheeses including cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, sausages, muesli, yogurt, and excellent coffee, along with her own warm breakfast dishes. For rides, Ryn is 1.5 km away and easy to reach by bike. I recommend the 4.3 km running loop around Lake Ołów. The Masurian Cycling Loop for MTB bikes starts on Route 59 toward Giżycko. I wouldn’t recommend road cycling, though. Busy stretches of good asphalt had heavy truck traffic, including large trucks carrying or towing boats, and without a shoulder it was hard to get through. The quieter routes sometimes had awful potholes, probably worse than the classic Paris-Roubaix race. We had lunch at Ryński Młyn and Na Zamek w Rynie (Ryne Castle), and also recommend Papryka. in Giżycko, Ratuszowa in Mragowo, and Pizzeria Włoska in Węgorzewo. A sunny day on the Krutynia River rafting trip was another highlight. You can rent kayaks or take a boat trip there too. The river is very shallow, only 1 meter deep, and the views are unforgettable. This was just the peaceful escape from city noise that we’d dreamed of, with trees, greenery, the lake, and a beautiful view from our terrace. You can breathe deeply, smell the flowers and blossoming trees, and listen to birdsong and the surrounding forest.
