We drove many kilometers only to be left stranded. Even though we had booked and paid, and the owner had previously confirmed the reservation, she later said there was no booking and every room was occupied. We weren’t accepted, and the owner offered no help, so we had to go back home with our vacation ruined. I wish I’d read the reviews sooner, as other comments describe similar situations. The owner seems chaotic, not checking what she rents or to whom, and guests can end up facing a locked door. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Bring clean sheets if you stay, and keep an eye out for mouse traps in the hallway. The house was so dirty that Gosia Rozenek could have filmed a cleaning show promo there, assuming she didn’t flee after opening the fridge. The reviews turned out to be true. The only thing we didn’t see was the naked owner running through the garden, though perhaps we would have if we’d stayed two days longer. I usually avoid negative reviews because anyone can make a mistake, but the state of the house and the owners’ behavior felt like a pattern, not a one-off. Late night fights and strangers walking into your room are apparently part of the deal. If that sounds like your kind of stay, you’ll feel right at home in a show like “Difficult Cases.”

There were a couple of positives: the location is close to the trails, and the Wi-Fi worked. But the rest was a disaster. The agent assured my friends and me that we were renting the whole house, then we arrived to find the owners living in a separate part of it. They caused the biggest problems, with shouting at night and unexpected entries into guests’ rooms. There was a terrible smell, and it seemed likely there was a drinking problem. Some of the sheets were dirty too. I don’t recommend it.

The location surrounded by nature was the best part, and the pool was a nice bonus. We rented the house with about 25 people and had no trouble communicating. It was charming, with clean, pleasant rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen had enough equipment, and the price was very good. There was no mobile signal, but the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I’d been put off by the negative reviews, but our experience was great and the owners were very nice. We’ll definitely return. :)
