At night it was nicely quiet, and the old town was only a few steps away. Our room had a balcony facing the Dominican monastery ;)))

The apartment looked nice in the pictures, and most things matched the description; the phone conversation while booking was pleasant too. The 3☆☆☆ standard was about what we expected. Rooms had tasteful, somewhat Sarmatian decor, including lovely stylized living room furniture. The kitchenette had the needed appliances and utensils, and the bathroom had a shower, sink, and toilet. The balcony view of Piszczele Park and St. James's Church was the highlight, but we couldn't enjoy it. Pigeon droppings covered the table, chairs, railing, and floor. Inside, the kitchen surfaces and cabinets were clean, though there was dust and some crumbs in the cutlery tray, and the pots and pans felt greasy and sticky. The bathroom ceiling had cobwebs and spider droppings, the taps weren't fully clean, the shower had a rain head but no hand shower, and its door wouldn't close properly. We also found ceiling cobwebs in the room, a dusty wardrobe, and torn bedding. It wasn't spotlessly clean, despite the 3 ☆☆☆ rating. Still, the room itself was nice, the location excellent, and it stayed quiet even though the market square is close. The cleaning staff should be checked on more often, and then the place could be great.

The staff were friendly and helpful, first sorting out a broken radiator, then offering to help when our car broke down. They treated us with real kindness and class. The apartment was cozy, finished beautifully, and had high-quality furniture and woodwork. I highly recommend it.

The place has a distinctive atmosphere, and the apartment is both very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen has plenty of cookware and dishes. Although it's on a road, the soundproofing works well, so traffic is barely audible. The market square, Vistula River, and ravines are all very close.
