The access road is awful, and there was no mention of that. The rooms get stuffy and hot in season, with no air conditioning. WiFi is available, but the promised internet connection is missing, as if it had never been paid for. The bathroom setup is impractical too. It’s a small, open shower, and water gets everywhere after you use it. The property itself is clean and fresh, with a refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop. But the stove doesn’t allow meat or fish, so you can only fry flour and eggs. We were charged another 300 PLN for our dogs, 150 PLN per dog, despite Booking.com saying pets were allowed. The dogs had been declared during booking using the “I’ll bring dogs” option. The woman who gave us the keys confirmed she had seen that option selected, so this was already an attempt to lie. There was no price list or information about the charge during booking. Saying only that extra costs may apply is a farce. The price and what it covers should be clear so customers know what they’re agreeing to. Springing 300 PLN on someone who has travelled from the other side of Poland for a holiday is, to put it mildly, a dirty trick and pure fraud. I don’t recommend this place.

There was a small window in the shower, but after washing up the whole bathroom flooded. With no ventilation vents in either the kitchen or bathroom, everything steamed up after cleaning. Some basic items were missing too, like a dish sponge and kitchen towel. For a stay of a few days for two people, there was only one roll of toilet paper. You end up buying things yourself when renting what was called a “furnished apartment.” On our last day, guests arrived with a dog that barked constantly. The whole property had been empty, yet they were placed right next to us. You can hear everything from the next room, so I suspect it may not be any better in high season. The room was cold when we visited off-season, despite the listing saying the rooms were heated. The woman said the underfloor heating had been on since morning, but the floor was freezing. We drove all the way to Koszalin to buy a temperature gauge, which read 18 degrees Celsius. At 7:30 PM we were told someone would check the heating within an hour. We waited until 9:30 PM, then washed up and went to bed because we had to leave first thing. I don’t know whether anyone came, but the promised update never arrived. Sarbinowo’s promenade is about a 30-minute walk away. The access road is a mess of paving stones and mud that makes the car bounce around. It’s a shame the listing didn’t mention this major drawback, since we might have looked elsewhere. I don’t recommend the place.

The owners made us feel at home. They were so kind and helpful, always smiling, and you can tell they put their heart into the place. We had no complaints and would happily return. The rooms were comfortable, with very comfortable beds, and everything was well appointed. The place was clean and attractive down to the details. It’s fairly close to the beach but in a really quiet area. Our stay was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it.

We’ve stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. If we get the chance, we’ll come again. The hosts are kind and easygoing, and they welcome even a family with a big dog, which is rare these days when usually only small pets are accepted. The rooms are clean, the beds are super comfortable, and it’s a 10-minute walk to the sea. I honestly recommend this place to everyone.
