The spa treatments felt thoughtful and professional, and the lakeside outdoor areas were wonderfully peaceful. We also liked the included buffet and the restaurant lunches, which were top notch. Still, a few things kept this from being a five-star stay. The pool loungers were so uncomfortable they actually hurt to sit on. Check-in also left us without a proper introduction to the spa, its services, or the events, and we missed an evening event outside. We speak Polish, so that wasn't the issue. Before checkout, we struggled to reach a taxi company to arrange a ride to Radom. As visitors from the United States, calls abroad don't always work well for us. When I asked the front desk woman for help, she treated it as outside the hotel's services and wasn't friendly about it. I've stayed in many five-star hotels, and getting help arranging a taxi has always seemed like a standard hotel service.

The food was fresh, varied, good quality, and had a distinctly Polish taste. This is an impressive holistic retreat for adults, with a pool and saunas both inside and out, as well as a spa.

I'm totally disappointed. You pay for the rustic setting here, not premium service, and the bar had none of the little snacks I'd expect at a place calling itself premium. The bartender was aggressive and rude enough to spoil the day. In the owner's response, which can't unfortunately be commented on, it was suggested that we touched or moved the furniture. Nobody did. Our group only asked if we could sit together, and the staff offered no solution. If walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds are unhealthy, well... The owner's reply makes it look like there's a lot to learn about customer service and how to respond.

The park was gorgeous and relaxing, and walking around it brought a big smile back to my face. Breakfast was generous too, with a large choice of tasty food. Staff at the restaurant and spa were friendly. The front desk, though, felt cold and incompetent. Our room, number 55, was a tiny, plain mansard room with a strange mix of old and modern furniture. The fridge in the closet didn't work, the safe was on the floor, and the bathroom was very small and cheap-looking. The towels seemed overwashed. There was no curtain on the roof window, so we woke early and had extra time to explore the park before breakfast. We arrived around 7:30 PM and waited about eight minutes at reception while a woman there chatted on the phone with her boyfriend. The buffet was about to close, and dinner was rushed; only pork and chicken were available, so the choice was very poor. At 6:30 PM our room still hadn't been aired or cleaned. Reception said we had to request that service specifically. We did, but the same thing happened the next day. There were no guest slippers, which made having a treatment in our own sneakers feel unhygienic. Drinking water was complimentary only on arrival day, and there wasn't any stationery either.
