A decent local three-star hotel with really friendly staff and an absolutely great location. But payment was cash only, the lift was out of order, and there was no breakfast. The receptionist did help us carry our bags.

The owner is very welcoming, and there's a lot you can chat about over coffee since she's active in social causes. The place has a lovely feel in a beautiful setting. Don't be put off by the phone calls: the guy really cares about guests and puts a lot into it. I came away feeling enriched. Szydłowiec itself is beautiful, and there's a lovely castle just five minutes from the hotel. Its evening atmosphere makes it a nice spot to unwind. I recommend it :)

It's easy to get everywhere from here, including the city center, and prices are affordable. A lovely place to unwind. Worth visiting and having a look around :)
