The hotel is right by the Promenade, so it's central, but still quiet. My room was very nice and seemed quite new, and the bathroom was a step above standard. They even made sure I could have breakfast early, and the breakfast was nice. The only reason I'm taking off a star is the lack of a proper desk. If you need to work or use a notebook, you're stuck with a small table or using the laptop in bed.

Too bad they were fully booked for the night, because the Villa is beautiful and right beside the fine white sandy beach. Breakfast was fantastic and really tasty, served in a spotless dining room. It was my first time having breakfast by candlelight :) The woman at reception was friendly and helpful, and shared a few tips and a little history of the Villa. She said it originally belonged to Bismarck, back when this land was part of Deutschland before the second world war.
