Hotel Cargo

A low-cost hotel with nice, clean rooms and very comfy beds, even for someone as picky as me. The nightly prices were very reasonable. It's just outside Slubice but right by the highway, so it's easy to reach. The shower takes a few minutes to heat up, but it's decent. There are two nice couches in the foyer where you can wait comfortably to check in.

After a long day of driving, we stopped for one night. Reception treated us kindly, and our room was clean and cozy. We also ate at the hotel cafe, where the service was pleasant and the food very tasty with generous portions. We were really satisfied.

The rooms have been renovated and were clean and nice, though the windows were a little broken. The bigger issue was what sounded like mice, maybe even rats. We were on the sixth floor and heard them running around in the ceiling all night, like a big rat party. When we mentioned it to a cleaning lady, she said it was impossible and that it was just “air moving and creating sound” :)

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and tried hard to help despite the language barrier, always staying nice. My room was big and nice, with even a sofa, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good for the price too.
