We had a lovely stay, but the day we left soured the whole experience, so I can’t recommend the place. The neighbor was lovely: she kept the keys and checked the apartment herself to confirm there was no damage. We still don’t know if the security deposit will be returned, though thankfully it didn’t go to the poor guy. Before the argument, we hadn’t paid attention to how poorly cleaned the apartment was: food in the kitchen, fridge, and cupboards, mold in the shower, and a broken shower door. The landlord had said a cleaner was supposed to handle cleaning before and after. When we mentioned the condition, the owner told us not to hit the ball and hung up. The trouble started because the landlord didn’t show up for check-in. He’d gone to bed at 4 a.m. on Friday, and only woke shortly before our train left around 11:30, calling to apologize for oversleeping. That might have been fine, but at 2 a.m. he called again, accusing us of damaging the apartment. His story changed quickly once he learned we had photos from before and after, and he insulted me over the phone. Then he accused us of leaving a mess, even though he’d said the cleaning lady would take care of it. Apart from the landlord, everything had been wonderful, which made the incident all the more bitter.

We spent our vacation in a lovely apartment that was clean, beautiful, and well equipped. The owner was kind and attentive, making sure we had what we needed. The location was just right, close to Mońciak, the beach, and public transport.

The interior is beautifully decorated and clean, with the beach nearby and a frog close by.
