City Sopot Pokoje i Apartamenty

I've stayed here three times now and plan to come back. They have different rooms, and there's a refrigerator, which is handy. The room cost less than Booking, and the off-season price was great. The location is excellent.

The stale bedding and towels were unpleasant, and the bathroom had almost no ventilation. During my April stay, someone threw a huge party on the second night that went on until 4 a.m., so sleeping was impossible. I reported it and heard nothing back. I booked here hoping to be nearer the center. They advertise the promenade, and the place I got was near the station and shops, but that wasn't what I expected. I wanted to book again for September, somewhere nearer the city center and beach, but they never sent the photos they promised. I don't want to book without seeing them. People have less money these days, yet you don't seem to care about guests who might return after one stay. After being treated this way, they lose interest.

There are restaurants, a deli, and a pharmacy right outside. The rooms are on Monte Cassino Street, reasonably priced, and have basic amenities, but all the essentials are there.

The bed linens, towels, and bathroom were clean, and the owner was easy to reach. Getting in early was no trouble. But I also have plenty of complaints: the bed is uncomfortable, the walls are dirty, and the ceiling has stains and signs of mold. The refrigerator leaks, the floor by the entrance sags, and the electrical sockets are hanging from their wires, which is dangerous and would take only a moment to screw back in. The best thing is the location, with everything nearby and tasty restaurants open early. I have mixed feelings: I recommend some parts, but dislike others.
