Equus Apartments

Getting to the beach is easy, and the location works well for a concert at Ergo Arena, around a 20-minute walk away. The apartment was laid out nicely and had what we needed. The complex itself is pleasant, though the floor was a little dusty and the shower head hadn’t been cleaned properly.

The apartment looked nice, but it was cold from the moment we came in. The host explained that the underfloor heating could take time, yet after two days in early November it still hadn’t warmed up. Even after using a hairdryer to heat the room, it was only about 20 degrees Celsius, and the bathroom radiator stayed cold. Taking a bath was uncomfortable in that chill. Cleanliness was also below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The owner came over quickly when I had a problem in the room and sorted it out. We liked the stay, and the Wi-Fi was great. The apartment had what we needed, including coffee, different teas, sugar, salt, plates, glasses, a frying pan, and a pot. It’s close to the sea and a Żabka supermarket. If you like wine, bring a corkscrew. I’d recommend these apartments 😊

Our arrival already felt odd because the owner’s phone was switched off for two hours. In February the rooms were so cold we needed a fan to warm them. There’s supposedly underfloor heating, but the floors stayed cold, and the bathroom radiators never got warm either. The bathrooms were the worst part: mold on the walls and shower grout, rust on the cabinets, and a linear drain that looked as if it had never been cleaned. The walls were filthy and scratched, even sticky. There were cobwebs, the curtains didn’t look washed since the place opened, and the stained floor seemed never to have been cleaned, which made the cleaning fee feel like a misnomer. Calling this an apartment feels generous. I don’t recommend staying there. If someone reported it to the relevant authorities, I think they might shut the place down.
