The biggest issue was the state of the apartment: sand and hair were all over the floor, along with false eyelashes, and it was disgusting to walk through. There were no spare clean sheets or towels. The set provided was very crumpled and covered in hair, and looked as though it had already been used. We were four people, and there was no fresh linen for the sofa bed. We ended up washing and ironing linen and mopping the floor, which was a mess of a weekend at the seaside. There were also tons of giant flies throughout the apartment, which was truly disgusting. The bathroom soap bottle was mostly water with just a little soap. The owner calls these luxury apartments, but luxury means impeccable cleanliness, and we didn’t even get ordinary cleanliness. After our review on Booking.com, the landlord said there had been only one hair and that they had apologized. We never received an apology in our direct correspondence. They also claimed in a Booking.com comment that they responded within two minutes and cleaned while we were out. That isn’t true. We came back from a walk and contacted them again because nobody had come to clean. They then said the cleaner had already cleaned the apartment. We sent photos, which we attached to this message, but they were ignored, with the response that the cleaner had done her job. I’d avoid this property if cleanliness and professional service matter to you. Stay away from Grand Apartments 3 City.
