Green Park Rentyear Apartments

We were happy with everything in apartment B, where we stayed with our two children. They provided a cot for the younger one. It was clean and tidy, the bedding was clean and there was enough for everyone, and everything we needed was there and in good condition. The location is 100/10, right across from the sea, near the square, restaurants, and a beautiful park. We’d be happy to come back!

The place was filthy. Our shoes stuck to the floor, it hadn’t been vacuumed, the windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, and there was mold all over the bathroom. The shower was broken, the bathroom door was caked in dirt, the bedding was stale, the refrigerator smelled, and the kitchenette was filthy. The kitchen cabinet front had been torn off and was being used as a terrace tabletop. The room also wasn’t what the listing showed. Booking advertised a two-room apartment with a large sofa and a bed, but we got one room in a shared apartment with a tiny, broken leather sofa. When unfolded, it blocked the bathroom door to the shower and sink. The toilet was shared and in the hallway. The owner said assigning us to that “apartment,” which was really a room, wasn’t her problem because Booking chose the photos. When I raised the condition of the place, she offered to have a cleaning company come in an hour, but I had an important meeting and couldn’t wait. She didn’t seem concerned about leaving strangers with my belongings, saying she’d come make sure nothing was stolen if I didn’t like it. I reported the issue to the Booking.com team, who negotiated a refund for cleaning costs included in the rental fee. The owner still wouldn’t take responsibility, exchange the room for another on her list, or pay to move us to another Booking.com property, as the hotline representative had suggested.

I’m giving one star for the location alone. The door handles are faulty, the shower leaks, the sink is clogged, and the TV doesn’t work. We can’t get in touch with the owner. The woman handling the rental on his behalf makes lots of promises but does nothing. We’re still waiting for Mr. Tomek to contact us about the discount and partial refund for not fulfilling the contract.

A damaged corner sofa, a TV that doesn’t work, and a clogged sink and shower. Even the towels look like they’re from the communist era. The whole place is a disaster. I don’t recommend it!
