Hotel Haffner Resort & SPA - Destigo Hotels

The hotel was clean and generally kept to a high standard, and breakfast was a reasonable value, though the food was just okay. What really spoiled the stay was finding the pool and spa closed for refurbishment. I understand the closure itself, but nobody told us when we booked or at check-in. I only found out after walking through a building site at 7:30 in the morning in my gown, looking for the pool. There were no signs or locked doors, which felt very dangerous. It’s a real shame the hotel didn’t have the courtesy to let us know or offer a refund for some of the rate given the circumstances. Based on our experience, it was poor value. Without a pool or spa, this should be listed as a two- or three-star hotel, nowhere near five stars.

The hotel facilities and staff were superb again, and the food and drinks were exquisite. We loved the restaurant meal, and the cozy bar has a big choice of cocktails and spirits, perfect for chatting in the evening. This was our second stay, and we had another wonderful time. Our room was a little smaller this time, which was disappointing. A big shout-out to Maksymilian, who served us today. He was professional and attentive to every detail. My wine glass seemed to magically refill every time I looked at it. I hope Haffner Hotel knows what a gem Maksymilian is. We’ll definitely be back!

A really good restaurant and a nice bar. My wife had a massage and facial treatment and says it was wonderful. Kate is an excellent beautician. Excellent five-star hotel, everything was perfect.

The pool area was a lovely highlight, relaxing and well managed. Paulina was especially friendly, helpful, and service minded, and her warm manner left a great impression on us. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Haffner. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. We highly recommend it and would gladly come back!
