Lapwing Residence Sopot

Everything matched the offer, and the conditions were excellent, with new, clever equipment and kind service. If you need to leave your luggage, you can do so at the office reception on Władysław IV 8, just a few minutes' walk from Monciak, the main street, and Sopot Molo. I'd highly recommend staying here for a weekend break or even longer.

Lapwing made for such a great stay. It's super clean and tidy, and the location is perfect, close to all the bars and restaurants. Definitely worth a visit, it was amazing!

We were really disappointed with our stay. One part of the attic apartment was completely cold, and the attic radiators weren't working. The bathroom radiators in all the bathrooms were cold, too. When we tried turning them up, they started burning and filled the apartment with smoke. We reported the temperature and other problems to reception, but nobody tried to fix anything. The radiator incident happened after 8 p.m., when reception was already closed. There was no emergency number to reach anyone responsible for the apartments or get the heating sorted for the night. The flat hadn't been cleaned properly. Surfaces and the fridge were dirty, ice bags from previous guests were left in the freezer, and the plates hadn't been washed well. The bedding wasn't properly washed, and the bed throws had stains from previous guests. The curtains were dirty, too. Door handles were broken, as was the plug on the bedside lamp and the hairdryer, which was a health and safety hazard. The living room chairs wobbled and had damaged legs, so they felt risky to sit on. There was dust and fluff on the floor, stains on the bathroom surfaces, and even the Christmas decorations were dirty. I don't know whether we were just unlucky or what happened, since we chose the place based on its good reviews. We reported everything when we arrived and gave management a chance to put it right, but nothing happened. We were a family of eight, with some of us living abroad, hoping to spend quality time together. When we reported the issues again and showed photos the next day after reception opened, nobody offered us anything. We definitely won't return. There were so many problems, and nobody seemed to care or offered any compensation for what happened.

The staff were fantastic and helpful, and my room was spotless. It's just a stone's throw from "Monciak" and Molo, with secure parking on the premises as an extra plus. A great spot for visiting Sopot. I'd definitely recommend it and come back!
