Mohlo Hotel

The room was very nice, and the nearby shops were great. The restaurant and breakfast area at the hotel were very overpriced, and the food wasn’t that good. Our whole family also got acne and outbreaks from the towels and pillowcases. The rooms were great, but the rest of the experience wasn’t.

A handy hotel for either business or a private stay. It’s two minutes on foot from the train station and about eight minutes from the beach and the iconic pier. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a fridge and kettle. They add bottles of water each day if you finish the ones there when you arrive. Breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m. and is varied and very tasty, with lots of vegetarian choices, including salads, yogurt, cottage cheese, and pancakes. The price feels reasonable for the quality.

The location is excellent, next to Sopot’s central walking street and close to lots of good breakfast places. It’s also very near the railway station, which is convenient but could be a downside for some, since a few rooms look directly onto the tracks and it gets loud from time to time. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are big with large showers. It’s a pretty decent hotel for the price. There are still things they could improve: the mattresses aren’t very comfortable, there are no king-size beds, and pushing two singles together only works with a bedsheet between them. There’s no electric kettle, and the room cleaning could be better.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean and felt modern, and the staff were friendly enough. Breakfast was decent, though nothing special. The hotel sits right at the top of the main street, which is a great spot. Just keep in mind that rooms at the back can pick up train noise if you're sensitive to sound.
