It feels intimate and cozy here, and the apartment was spotless 👌 Better than some hotels. I’d choose to stay here again a million times.

The pillows were much too soft for us, and when we asked for extras, they said no. Check-in at 16:00 also feels very late. Hotels used to let people in at 12, then 14, and now many use 15. This is the first time I’ve heard of 16:00. To be fair, Monte Carlo does try to get guests checked in earlier, but the official time is still 16:00, which I find odd. The apartment itself is clean and nicely located in the city center. There’s air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a kettle, and every socket works. They also left two complimentary bottles of water.

It’s really disappointing to have to leave a bad review. When we arrived, we found that our reservation had been changed. We tried to explain and work out a solution, but the staff wouldn’t cooperate. They wouldn’t refund us or move the booking to another date, and were completely inflexible and unfriendly. We came away feeling they cared about profit more than whether guests were satisfied. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place.
