The room was clean, and the retro furniture looked well cared for. The lobby had the same old-fashioned style. We had a small kettle, ceramic cups, soap, shower gel, extra towels and blankets. The receptionist was friendly and there around the clock. Our room was number 8, with a lovely view from the balcony of Sopot molo, the park and the sea. It was spacious and very quiet, with a high ceiling that kept the air fresh and the room from getting too warm in spring. I can't say how it would be in summer, though the sea breeze might help. The bathroom was roomy, but the toilet was oddly close to the sink, close enough to drink from the tap while sitting there. The bed was king-sized or bigger, but made up of two mattresses with a small gap between them, which could bother a young couple. The location is excellent, near the sea and main attractions, and the price is reasonable for the area. It really exceeded what I'd expect from a two-star hotel. There was no air conditioning, though at this price and rating I'm probably just nitpicking. There was no fridge either; once you understand Polish culture, you might even appreciate that it keeps the rooms quiet, without alcohol parties. The pictures were taken with our real-life mess as we were leaving. When you arrive, everything is clean and tidy.

We had two double rooms joined together like an apartment, with one bathroom between them. The beds were comfortable, and there was a fridge, TV, kettle and balcony. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with basic toiletries, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was good value. The property has a vintage feel and sits in a beautiful, quiet spot across from a park, a minute's walk from the beach. Look at the photos first: anyone after a flashy, modern hotel should look elsewhere, but if you like quirky charm, this could be the place. We expected old furniture and features, and nothing was broken. The décor had lots of character and we loved it. The place was clean and pleasant, though in a few spots its charm came close to looking neglected. It could use a bit more care. We didn't mind much, but noticed it, and hopefully a good summer season will help. One last thing, spare mattresses and folding beds were left in front of the rooms the whole stay, which wasn't nice to see.

The location is really handy and the prices are reasonable. It’s an old-fashioned hotel with a lovely atmosphere, and the breakfast was very good.
