This was the worst travel experience I’ve ever had, and we’ll NEVER return. The place was terrible, and I’d tell people NOT to go. It was also very expensive. A house literally next door had been demolished and was being rebuilt, with a jackhammer going at 07.00 AM and a huge crane set up. There was no compensation. One room was being remodeled too, with sawing and hammering going on. The rooms were in awful shape: small and impractical, unclean and highly dated, with uncomfortable beds. The shower wasn’t mounted properly and was half hanging off the wall. Electrical wires were hanging from the walls and ceiling. The walls and ceiling were thin. The bathrooms were so small you had to step out just to change your opinion. The standard was so low you’d think Poland was a country challenging Eritrea for the lowest BNP. There’s no reception. The TV didn’t work, and a small refrigerator had to be shared with 19 other people. WiFi was only available on the 1st floor. The router was old, and newer devices couldn’t connect to it. I had to get a Nintendo switch online through a phone. The owner said he would "fix" it but never did. We told the "manager" about all of this and agreed to meet, but he didn’t show up. He might appear once or twice a day, if you happen to be there.

The location is handy, close to the main street and train station, and the price is low for a nice place. It gets cold in winter, though. Maybe that's common around here, since there are no triple-glazed windows or heated floors in the country. If you're after luxury, you'll need to spend quite a bit more elsewhere. I might come back in spring or summer.

I only looked at the reviews after booking, so I arrived at the villa feeling uneasy. I’d chosen it in a rush late at night, with little time and not many listings left on the well-known portal that starts with B. Room 8 on the first floor turned out to be a pleasant surprise: the floor and bathroom looked fresh, the walls were white and had no mold, and the shower was in good shape. The stairs do creak, and the building could use a quick renovation from the outside, as other places are much further ahead. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but if you need an inexpensive place to stay, I’d recommend room 8.

The location was fine, not far from the sea, but I was disappointed by a few things. The bathroom needs renovating, and its mirror is just 1.70 meters high, which seems suited only to very tall people. Parking is limited to three cars. Smoking is banned throughout the property and comes with a 200 PLN fine, but I didn’t know that when booking because I couldn’t find the information anywhere. Breakfast was listed as included when I reserved, but apparently I hadn’t signed up for it, so it wasn’t provided. The owner didn’t seem very pleasant. I got the impression she was doing the job out of necessity rather than enjoyment.
