The helpful gentleman I spoke with was pleasant, and the room felt cozy. The bathroom was modern and clean. The beds were made neatly, though there were several black hairs on one side, and the bunk bed creaked a lot. We weren't cold, but couldn't adjust the radiator. I'd still recommend the place :)

For 200 PLN a night, having no hot water or heating is a disaster. The reception was closed, and so was the restaurant. There was nobody to complain to, and the owner had switched off his phone. I can't recommend staying here.

We managed to get a refund for the nights after the first, and were glad to leave after just one night. We never got a receipt or invoice, even though we'd said on Booking.com and over the phone that a VAT invoice would be fine. There was nobody at reception, so there was no way to sort things out in person. The owner had called a few times earlier to ask how we were getting on along the route, but turned off his phone soon after handing us the key card. The number on the card in the room was for technical issues. The room itself was dirty, with cobwebs at eye level in the corners, though the spiders had long since left. Even the flowers in the painting looked wilted. Something in the wall buzzed, squealed, and howled on and off, and after ten minutes it was driving us crazy. The bathroom was in terrible shape. The shower looked so bad we were afraid to touch it, let alone use it, and the fan sounded like a broken helicopter. It was cold because the radiator didn't work. The owner immediately told us it was being repaired that day and might still not work. Looking at other reviews, it seemed this excuse had been used before the gas bill hit hard. We got an oil-filled radiator, but it couldn't warm the room. There was an air conditioner on the wall that could have heated it, except its remote was left in a separate holder on the wall. When we booked in a hurry, we didn't think to check the reviews first. That was a huge mistake. The owner also asked us over the phone to cancel through Booking.com, apparently to avoid paying a commission and keep that, well, relatively high rating. And there was no intermediary to contact with a complaint. A real disaster. Avoid this place.

They gave me an electric heater for the room, but when I asked about heating in the bathroom, I got, “Let's not exaggerate. Are you planning to sleep there?” In January there was no heating at all. I wanted to move somewhere else, but the owner wouldn't refund my money. He'd told me I had to cancel through Booking.com because otherwise he couldn't check me in. The place was a complete disaster. The room was dirty, and the bed was terribly uncomfortable.
