The location is great, the room was clean and pleasant, and the desk staff were very helpful. Other guests do love slamming their doors, though. I understand it may be a cultural thing, but I think hotels these days should provide at least a fan and a mini fridge, and neither was in the room. I can 100% forgive there being no microwave, though.

The rooms are relatively spacious, but there was no waste bin in mine, and the elevator only goes to the second floor. Guests on higher floors have to carry their luggage up the stairs, which was an unnecessary hassle. The large window had only a partial curtain, so it didn’t block enough light. With the property right beside a busy road, the noise and light made sleeping or relaxing nearly impossible. The beds had extremely firm mattresses and old, uncomfortable pillows, which made it hard to rest. There was only a small mirror in the bathroom, not a practical one for getting ready. Altogether, the stay was uncomfortable and frustrating, and fell far short of my expectations.

The food is great, though more standard choices would be better, and freshly squeezed juices would be a nice option. The menus had no translation, which was terribly inconvenient. There wasn’t a classic breakfast with eggs and wurst every day either, which also wasn’t good. The rooms were clean, but the beds weren’t comfortable. In the room’s bathroom, the shower hose was too short.
