Hotel Stal

There are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance, and plenty of free parking right outside. The breakfast had lots to choose from and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms feel basic and dated, and my mate said the gym was very basic too.

Breakfast was the nicest part for me: the dining area is updated and cozy, and the buffet had enough variety to keep it interesting for a few days. I didn't try lunch or dinner. The room and bathroom were clean but a bit dated, though fine for what it cost. A decent place to stay if you're in the area.

The room was spacious, clean, and set up like an apartment, with a separate bedroom and living room. I slept well, and the hotel was clean, though it did feel a little cheap. The restaurant seemed more like a canteen, and the place felt more like an inn than a hotel. Prices are affordable and matched what I expected. There are lots of parking spaces out front. Accessibility is a real issue, though: the high stairs to reception can't be managed by wheelchair users.

The room was basic, though the bathroom had been updated. Breakfast was simple, and I found the coffeemaker hard to use. The bathroom water smelled strongly of chlorine. Staff were somewhat friendly, but most spoke poor English, and they could have been friendlier overall. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.
