The meal was bland and forgettable, and nowhere near what I expected for the price or reputation. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came well done, with no apology, offer to fix it, or even acknowledgment. The whole meal felt rushed and careless, with no attention to detail. Service was a mess from the start. Our appetizer arrived before anyone had a drink, then we waited over 25 minutes for beverages and only got them after flagging someone down. The waitress never checked on us or asked about the food. We got odd, uncomfortable looks that made it feel like our presence was a bother. We weren’t offered water either. Things got worse when our appetizer was first taken to another table, then picked up and put in front of us anyway. Passing food around like that is unacceptable and frankly unsanitary, especially at a place presenting itself as high-class. For somewhere talked up as upscale and refined, the experience felt shockingly amateur. The staff made us feel unwelcome, as if we were being tolerated instead of served. At these prices, guests should feel looked after, not uncomfortable. This was one of my most disappointing restaurant experiences in Poland. The place seems to depend on hype more than substance. The food and service fell far short of what a restaurant of this supposed caliber should offer. I’d strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. The wait staff need proper training, and management should rethink what high-end dining means.
